The 3rd year anniversary celebration of the May They Be One Bible campaign by the Philippine Bible Society in partnership with Musikapihan Ministries was a complete success as many people showed up to pledge in the Bible cause. It was a laid-back and joyous night filled with wonderful music courtesy of Bill Aujero, Sarah Balabagan, Jonaver Luklukan, La Verne Ducut, and James Sace. The first three managed to grab the attention of the audience with their gripping stories of pain and suffering. It was indeed an eye-opener for many as each of them narrate their dark and brutal past and how God’s Word led them to the path of righteousness.

Dr. Nati Pagadut, the Executive Secretary of the Episcopal Commission for the Biblical Apostolate (ECBA), and who is also a PBS board member, challenged the audience to actively support the MTBO campaign which aims to distribute 5 million Bibles to 5 million Filipino families in 7 years. Pagadut dropped any sort of formalities in presenting her appeal and instead embarked on an engaging pep talk peppered with humorous punch lines as she tackled the importance of the MTBO campaign and how they could be of help in making it a success.
Thanks to the generous donations of the people who were blessed by the inspiring testimonies, this fundraising event was able to raise Php77, 249.25. Because of this amazing turnout, our goal of putting a Bible in every Filipino home is well within reach.
