May They Be One Bible Campaign “It is very evident that if there is anything that can reunite us Christians it’s really the Word of God.” Bishop Pablo Virgilio S. David, DD, Chairman, ECBA Couples for Christ, the Episcopal Commission for Biblical Apostolate and the Philippine Bible Society launched/announced their partnership in May They Be One Bible Campaign during the Leadership Conference at Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 9, 2010. As part of the Campaign, a Valentine’s Day Fun Run last Feb. 14 was sponsored by the Youth for Christ (YFC), Batangas chapter, working under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Jauod, of the Most Holy  Rosary Parish, Archdiocese of  Lipa..  The amount YFC Batangas raised from the Fun Run was used as initial fund to purchase 500 copies of May They Be One Tagalog  Bibles  for distribution on the 3rd week of March to various groups: 50  Bibles for   the  Archdiocese’s  Youth   Commission  c/o   Rev. Fr.  Dakila  Ramos; 100 for Gawad Kalinga families; 100 for the Most  Holy  Rosary  Parish,  Padre  Garcia; 100 for Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, Rosario; 50 for the Immaculate Concepcion Parish, Batangas City and 100 Bibles for inmates of the Batangas Provincial Jail attending the Christian Life Program of CFC. No. of  Dioceses participating in the Bible Campaign – 56 out of 86 Dioceses Bible Distribution (Jan-Feb 2010) Total Bibles distributed - 24,841cps. (Jan - 10,369; Feb. - 14,472 cps.) Parishes/Communities served: 102 Bibles Distributed by Languages - Tagalog  (11,540 cps.), English (3,689 cps.), Bicol    (526 cps.), Cebuano (520 cps.), Hiligaynon  (2,087 cps.), Ilocano (4,463 cps.), Pangasinense (2,016 cps.) Target Coverage of Bible Distribution for April-June 2010 (based on orders received): Naval, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Digos, Pagadian, Ozamis, Butuan, Dipolog,       Borongan, Bayombong, San Fernando (Pampanga) Total Bible Distribution: (Jan 2009- Feb 2010): 128,794 cps Target No. of Bibles for Distribution for 2010: 200,000 cps.
